Spring School successfully completed

The BioIntAkt international Spring School on the topic of “Bioacoustics and Species Recognition using Artificial Intelligence” has taken place from 23–27 March 2026 in the town of Volpriehausen, Germany.

We were glad to welcome 34 international participants and 8 guest speakers for a week of talks, workshops, and ample networking opportunities. The spring school’s program was deliberately designed to address the intersection between ecology and computer science, and consequently attracted interested participants from both domains.
